Introducing UPOL Barcoat Quick Drying Isolator Sealer Primer 1L
UPOL Barcoat is a quick drying yellow oxide isolator/sealer. Ideal for restoration work. Prevents lifting and bleeding of existing paint film sensitive to solvent attack when over-coated with cellulose or paint containing strong solvents. Can be applied to the following surfaces:
Not recommended for bare metal such as steel and aluminium and galvanised
- Should be air dried
- Original paint surfaces

Application:
- Tools required:Degreaser / Abrasives /HVLP Gravity Gun / Painters Overalls
- To achieve best results, good preparation is essential
- Firstly, degrease with U-POL Pre cleaner (S2000, S2001 or S2002)
- Following this, abrade the surface
- Original cured paint: wet flat with P400
- GRP, SMC, Glass fibre, Polyester Filler: dry flat with P180
- Before applying primer, clean lightly once more with SYSTEM 20 Degreasers and dry thoroughly
- BARCOAT should be over-coated with primer/surfacer
- BARCOAT should not be sanded before application of further coats of paint
